The $50. application fee includes consideration and review of your film by the Jagged Productions Executive team to see if your film meets the qualifications to be included in The Twisted Fiction series. Not all applications will result in acceptance into the series.

What is the criteria?

Between 20 and 25 minutes long

In English language or foreign language with English subtitles

Film must be in the horror or thriller genre​

Anything similar to Twilight Zone, Creepshow, Black Mirror, The Outer Limits

Selected films will automatically be included in the current (Tubi, Plex) and future channels that run the Twisted Fiction series. In addition, The Twisted Fiction series is regularly promoted through our website (jaggedproductions.com), YouTube channel and social media such as Facebook and Instagram. When a film is accepted the filmmaker will receive all the benefits of having a company performing worldwide distribution and marketing for their film. Filmmakers will be notified within 5 business days if their film is accepted. Upon acceptance Jagged Productions will negotiate an outright purchase or option of the film. You are paying a fee for the opportunity to immediately have your film in front of a worldwide audience with an established horror anthology franchise and worldwide marketing of your film under the Twisted Fiction franchise.

• Acceptance into the Twisted Fiction series is not guaranteed

• Filmmakers who submit applications will receive a response within 5 business days​

Film submissions that are not accepted into the Twisted Fiction series will automatically be entered into the Twisted Fiction Online Showcase.

The Twisted Fiction Online Showcase is an interactive online film festival where participants view and vote on short films in real time and winners are awarded prizes.  All titles will be included in the Twisted Fiction Youtube channel playlist and promoted. 

 

Entry fee is waived for short film submissions that did not make it into The Twisted Fiction series.
